The main concept of the game is to be handed cards adding up to twenty-one. Each player is handed two cards. When a black jack player is given a 9 or lower value card and an Ace they’ve been handed a soft hand. When the blackjack player receives no Ace it is called as a hard hand. As soon as the cards have been dealt all players at the table, including the dealer, every blackjack player is given the chance to make one of six actions:
Taking another card (Hit): When a gambler says "hit" the croupier will deal them another card, if the adding of that card makes the value of the hand to exceed 21 the black jack player will have lost and be excluded from the game, if the card makes the total to twenty-one the black jack player wins and if the value of the hand hasn’t yet reached 21 they’re still in the game.
Keeping the hand you have been dealt: If a player is happy with the hand they will hold. As soon as this has happened the croupier will show his or her cards and the black jack player who has accumulated twenty one or the closet to twenty one will acquire a win.
Doubling Down: A gambler may request to double down which increases the wager by one hundred percent they have placed. Once you have taken this procedure you can only receive 1 additional card. The details of doubling down are often out lined by the blackjack table or casino rules so before gambling be certain you’re comfortable with the house rules. If you are competing at an internet casino this is normally quite simple.
Stay tuned for part 2.
