I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
