I have played countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at 21. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
