I have bet on millions of hands of blackjack. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
