I have wagered on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first $10 wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
