I have played countless of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager $40

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
