I have bet on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
