I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 wager

Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
