I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
